What is the difference between the traditional Alkaline, PEM and AEM technologies, and what are the advantages of Supercritical?

Supercritical electrolysers operate at high pressure, making them unique in delivering >200 bar gases without gas compressors.  They operate at high current density, comparable to that of PEM electrolysers (AEM, Alkaline and SOE are all low current density).  Supercritical electrolysers are membraneless and as such do not employ the use of forever chemicals in their design, as used in the membranes of PEM and AEM electrolysers.  Supercritical operates at the comparable electrolysis efficiency as SOE electrolysers.
